Internal Eyes

Facepalming Panda Driving drums, killer riffs, and gorgeous vocal harmonies make this an absolute must-listen for fans of more technical punk/hardcore (think A Wilhelm Scream, This is a Standoff, Strung Out, etc). Wall-to-wall bangers with plenty of variety from one song to the next. Tight, punchy drumwork perfectly compliments the tasty guitar riffs, and the dual vocalist approach lends an extra layer of personality to the proceedings. Awesome stuff. Favorite track: The World Up There.

Jeremy Osborn Have been a fan of Laura's since Light This City. She rocked hard then and still rocks hard here. Different from Light This City, but Heartsounds are an awesome take on modern day Hardcore Punk. Favorite track: Can't Always Be Looking Down.
Seanny123

Seanny123 Pop punk with a metal-like urgency. Favorite track: A Total Separation of Self.

about

The Bay Area's HEARTSOUNDS are back with a brand new 10-song full length LP! The follow-up to 2011's "Drifter" (Epitaph Records) sees the band reaching an interesting new level of songwriting and musicianship, focusing heavily on technically driven, heavy metal-influenced guitar work, thundering drums, and harmony laden melodic dual vocal performances between guitarist/vocalists Laura Nichol and Ben Murray. While the band has amplified their love of the riff and faster tempos, the ten tracks that comprise Internal Eyes manage to retain the punk-rock heart and hook-driven structures that many fans of the band's first two albums have come to appreciate. Internal Eyes manages to delve into exciting new ground for the band both musically and vocally, while retaining the same 90's Epitaph/Fat-Wreck inspired foundation that has shaped the band's sound thus far.
